The Green Thumb Garden Series, a joint venture of the Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach offices of Virginia Cooperative Extension and their Master Gardeners, offers horticultural classes, workshops and tours to Hampton Roads citizens who cannot or do not wish to attend Master Gardener classes. The Green Thumb classes are very affordable and give most students the information they need to improve their lawns, gardens, and their lives.

Classes are held on five consecutive Tuesdays beginning April 11. Registration for all five sessions is $30, or you may register for your choice of single or multiple classes at $8 per session. A discount is available for early registration – $25 for all five before April 1, 2017.
