NORFOLK'S WETLANDS  

    Within the City of Norfolk, there are approximately 750 acres of tidal wetlands, including interconnected beaches and tidal flats. Wetlands exist on both residential and commercial properties.

Following is information on how to protect wetlands on your own personal property.  It is our hope that this information will provide a reasonable foundation for why these areas should be protected and even enhanced with the proper guidance.
